Privacy policy

The collection, use and processing of your personal information is carried out in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable legal provisions, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (furthe referred to as the "General Regulation") and the General Implementing Law on data protection (OG 42/2018).

Personal information are all information that can be used to establish your identity. TourISTRA  may collect some of the following personal information: name, surname, residence, date of birth, personal identification number, ID card or other identification document, citizenship, information about your stay, including information about the facility where you stayed, date of arrival, departure date.

TourISTRA  may use your personal information to: provide the services you have requested, such as booking accommodation; provided the information you request regarding the services we provide; facilitate the use of the TourISTRA  web portal; prevent fraud or other prohibited or illegal activities.

You have the right to request a copy of all your personal information that we have collected, and you can see the information we collected when booking the accommodation from the booking itself.

TourISTRA does not sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties. TourISTRA  may share information with trusted partners who perform certain functions for us (eg, marketing campaigns, payment processing).

We forward certain personal information to the competent authorities on the basis of legal obligations, such as registering guests with eVisitor.
In any case, when TourISTRA  needs to share the collected personal information then we request that it be protected and not used for marketing purposes.

The period during which TourISTRA  retains personal information is limited to the strict minimum and, accordingly, TourISTRA  prescribes time limits for retaining or periodically reviewing certain personal information so as not to be held for longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. After the deadline, TourISTRA will delete the personal data.

TourISTRA undertakes to protect the personal data of customers, in such a way that it collects only the necessary, basic data about customers/users that are necessary to fulfill our obligations; informs customers about the way the collected data is used, regularly gives customers a choice about the use of their data, including the ability to decide whether or not they want their name removed from lists used for marketing campaigns. All user data is strictly kept and is available only to employees who need this data to perform their work. All employees of TourISTRA and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.
