Area description
Umag is a city on Croatia’s Istrian peninsula. The remains of the 10th-century town walls include a gate and a drawbridge. Umag Town Museum, in a former defense tower, contains Roman-era objects such as amphorae and lamps, as well as contemporary local art. The Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church has an unfinished baroque facade and a 17th-century bell tower. A long sea wall from the 1800s shelters the harbor. It stretches over 45 km of the Adriatic coast, known for its tennis and excellent Istrian cuisine. Definitely worth visiting the sunken city of Sipar, the 16th century church of San Rocco, the museum of the city of Umag, the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic in Savudrija, numerous cycle paths.
Known for various sports and entertainment events, one of them is the ATP Umag tournament - international tennis tournament. For entertainment there Sea Star Festival, Indirekt festival, Spring Festival...
Activities description
The town’s rich history, dating back to Roman times, is revealed in its amazing architecture and cultural heritage. Umag also offers top-notch Mediterranean cuisine, gorgeous beaches and sports activities galore – it’s especially known for the annual Croatia Open Umag, the country’s oldest and most famous tennis tournament.

A new, three bedroom apartment with a floorplan of 105 sqm offers you a cmfortable livig open plan area with a fully eqipped kitchen, dining and seating space that is connected with the outside terrace and garden trough large glass doors and windows. On the otside space you can enjoy a nice soak in the private jacuzzi, as well as prepare your dinners in the outside kitchen with grill and dining space. The living space and the bedrooms have each an airconditiner. Two bedrooms are furbished with a large double bed and one bedroom has a single bed with an auxiliary bed that can be pulled out from the main bed in case you need an extra sleeping space, for a maximum of 6 sleeping guests in the apartment. When you rent this apartment, the bed linen is provided as well as a set of two towels per person per week. Included in the price is also the tourist tax, parking, wi-fi connection and satelite tv programs. Pets are not allowed in this apartment and the main renter has to be 25 years of age minimum. A perfect place for families and friends.
